Premium House 17

ARK recently designed 2 house at the Lepont development for Vanke Hong Kong.

The first house, no 17, is aimed at a younger generation of home buyers. The design explores the use of elegant lines and light tonal qualities to create a home that is simple, stylish, contemporary and comfortable; all at the same time.

The ground floor with the living and dining room utilizes an architectural approach with surfaces that wrap from wall to ceiling and an emphasis on vertical expression The design material adopts soft and light colour wood tones, natural textured marble walls that are accented with dark metal lines to give the space a comfortable yet edgy feel that harmonizes with the ground floor garden.

Master Bedroom

The master bedroom combines the main bedroom and a walk in dressing room, “Ladies Corner”, onto one floor. The bedroom design emphasizes on the use of lines and proportions to give a room a visually pleasing quality. The master bed backdrop is accented with an abstract artwork that alludes to the natural surroundings of the development. Facing the bed is a display cabinet that transforms into a tv and small table via sliding walls.

Master Bedroom “Ladies Corner”

Connecting directly to the Master bedroom is the dressing room. The room is a bespoke designed dressing room with dedicated make up table, chase lounge, wrap around dressing mirror and display wardrobes.

The dressing table with its feminine egg like mirror and floating oval shaped dressing table give a focus and highlight to this “Ladies Corner”.
