Architecture

This project is a competition design for 34,500m2 grade A office tower for New World Development in the Cheung Sha Wan district. The design began with research on recent gentrification trends of the area. The proposal aims to surpass the mere provision of well designed office space, but to foster vibrant work communities. By creating gallery spaces and pop up retail in the podium area, ARK focused on a programmatic and branding approach to design. In the tower, several “slithers” cut through the tower volume to form unique sky gardens and terrace spaces to create an iconic building fitting to the forward-looking New World brand.
