Wong's Factory
Kowloon, Hong Kong | In Progress
Located in the Tsuen Wan district of Hong Kong, Wong’s Factory is a wholesale conversion project of an existing factory building into 15,000m2 of office spaces. Given the imposing columns and beam grid structure of the existing building, the façade design seeks to break down the structural grids by applying a “wallpaper” like façade that responds to the grid. The result is a façade made up of tessellated patterns of reflective gold and tinted glass that is playful and iconic, fitting for the programmatic transformation from heavy duty factory into contemporary coworking spaces.
