Architecture
666 Nathan Road
Kowloon, Hong Kong | In Progress
The project involves the remodelling of an existing 1980’s office building with an area of 7,300 m2 into a modern office and retail tower. With an existing built form that was ridged and awkward, the design began with an extension of floor plates to create a sleek and platonic rectangular block. The new curtain wall is a playful composition of layers of frames, glass pattern and architectural fins, echoing the vibrancy and intensity of the surrounding Mong Kok retail and entertainment area.
